Hey, hey! Guess what? I finally got flamed! I've been waiting for this since the beginning of the school year, back when I posted my first fic. Here, let me show you the idiot in their own brilliant, misspelled, miscapitalized, mispunctuated words

Yeah, so I'm totally crying and cutting myself in depression now (not!) I'm just really sad they didn't leave their name so I could make fun of them in person. Like,

"The story has a very clear header outlining its contents. If you didn't read the header, you're an idiot. If you don't like incest and did read the header and still read the story, you're an idiot AND a hypocrite. I'm dealing with my issues; actually, this story is one way I've done that."

I feel like writing underage incest now :D

What an idiot. Seriously. I don't even know what to say. I am dumbfounded that anyone could embarrass themselves with a comment like that.

Bahahahaha THIS. Honestly I don't get people. I have had isssues with stuff like this at forums. I used to post quite a bit over at imdb (not so much anymore) but well, we would have threads LABELED Wincest (or clearly stating that the thread is going to contain discussion ABOUT Wincest) and we would still get people posting stuff like-

"Ew. You guys are perverted. I can't believe you would talk about Sam and Dean WHO ARE BROTHERS that way. That grosses me out so much."

And I swear I would roll my eyes so hard every time I would read stuff like that. I just don't understand how truly honestly DUMB people are. When they saw the title.....what did they think was going to be in the thread. When they clicked in the thread and started to read about our love for Sam and Dean fucking like bunnies, why didn't they stop reading??

I avoid posts and threads about Ruby like the plague. I refuse to look at them at all because I have never loathed a character as much as her. I HATE that PoS character that the writers royally screwed with the season. Thinking of Ruby= VIOLENT thoughts. So SMART person that I am, I stay far away from any mention of her.

It really makes me worry about these people procreating and breeding their idiocy into the world population.

I suspect that most of the people who do this are secretly titillated by the subject, but won't admit it, possibly even to themselves. I kinda feel sorry for them actually.

Glad to see that you have the wisdom to avoid stuff you know'll drive you to misbehavior. I keep away from the Narnia fandom because I know that I can't stand to see my childhood love dragged through the inevitable muck (for some reason, incest in that fandom bugs me).

And the best revenge is living well and doing more of whatever pissed them off :D

You know, I've stopped reading stories on FF.net because I love reading the comments and usually the ones on slash stories are... less than enlightened.

I actually haven't seen too many of these. I recently got another comment on that story that specifically addressed this one and suggested they go read Bible fanfiction.

Although it does bug me how generally unintelligent the comments tend to be; I'm not sure how seriously I should take someone saying I'm a good writer when they say it with misspellings and poor grammar, you know?

Ah, but you are wise enough not to read. That story isn't for everyone, but I'm not sure if any of my stuff is, even the nice, gen, publishable, non-porn stuff. Everybody's got their limits and sometimes those limits seem weird to outsiders

Yes, but you are in a forum where, in theory, you can explore those limits. One of my favourite authors writes hard-core, bdsm, non-con (sometimes). I couldn't and won't read it from most people because they don't know how to handle it. I trust this author implicitly because he can.

As for anything regarding children, as far as I am concerned it is off limits. That is just my limit.

It's an American thing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woman%27s_Christian_Temperance_Union. Basically a bunch of goodie-goodies who felt compeled to legislate their brand of morality on everyone else. The United States still hasn't recovered.
