Just for an understanding as to why I'm squeeing, my previous fandom, which I still have plenty of fondness for, was Devil May Cry (series of video games by Capcom). Resident Evil is also originally a series of Capcom video games and the first Devil May Cry game was actually initially intended to be a Resident Evil game. As a result, Resident Evil is one of the more popular crossovers with Devil May Cry, possibly the most popular. As Leon is something of a bishonen (and so has something of a following amount yaoi fangirls), pairing him with Dante, the main character of Devil May Cry is pretty common.
